The Malta Chamber of Psychologists is organising a CPD training on ‘Creating a Culture of Safeguarding for Psychology Professionals‘. This training will be delivered by Ms. Kerry Hermitage, a warranted social worker and CEO of The Lisa Maria Foundation.
Attendance to this training will grant attendees 5 CPD hours and a certificate of attendance.

Children deserve to be safe and professionals and organisations can each contribute to this responsibility by incorporating a culture of safeguarding into their every day thoughts and practice.
This training aims to:
- encourage participants to consider the risks and signs of harm and abuse in children and youth;
- help to build confidence and sensitivity when working with disclosures of abuse;
- create the opportunity to reflect on safeguarding barriers and solutions within work settings;
- help to create safer spaces and organisations for children and youth.
Additionally participants will be offered free resources to use within their work places to continue to build on their safeguarding practices.
