On this page you will be able to apply for a membership with MCP.

By submitting your details, MCP will be able to perform a manual vetting process to determine if the applicant is eligible to obtain the membership that they applied for.

MCP provides different types of membership grades to its members. You may find further information explaining each grade below.

Student Membership
€20.00

Persons who are reading for an undergraduate degree in Psychology.

Affiliate Membership
€40.00

Persons in possession of an undergraduate degree in psychology, or any other discipline adjudged by the Council as being related to psychology.

Associate Membership
€50.00

Persons in possession of an undergraduate degree in psychology and a post-graduate qualification at masters or postgraduate diploma level in an area related to psychology.


Full Membership
€60.00

Persons in possession of an undergraduate and master’s degree in psychology or holders of the EuroPsy. The qualification of such members shall be recognized by the National Commission for Further and Higher Education (NCFHE) and/or the Malta Psychology Professions Board.

Kindly note that MCP’s financial year starts on 1st October and ends on 30th September of the subsequent year.

More so, affiliate, associate and professional membership fees have been increased by €10.00 following a unanimous vote in favour of increasing such fees taken during the Annual General Meeting held on 25th November 2022.
