At times, our inclination to assist others comes effortlessly. On other occasions, it becomes more challenging and demanding, affecting both our professional and personal spheres.

Initial formal training in the helping professions aims to pass on knowledge regarding theoretical and evidence-based approaches for interventions. However, there are instances when grasping the real-world applicability of these interventions and their effects on the relationship between you, as a helper, and the client, can be complicated. This course aims to further cultivate your reflective and practical aptitudes in collaborating with diverse clients. It delves into the progression of the helper-client relationship: from the initial stages of establishing meaningful connection, to the introspection and comprehension required to facilitate the path of transformation, and more. This course provides reflective and practical skills to work with various client populations by integrating concepts and techniques from various schools of thoughts, most predominantly: person-centred, psychodynamic and third wave therapies such as CBT.
